What are the three choreographic elements of dance? – Social Ballroom Dancing

They’re the choreographer, the performer, and the viewer.

Dancing through time: Theatrical dance students perform ...
Dance is all about the dancer. It is about the interaction between performer and audience. In many cases, there are several dance elements in a given performance. If you were going to write a book about choreography, you would definitely write an entry for the performer. If you were going to write a book about music, you would definitely write one on music, but you probably wouldn’t write about it as a whole. That’s where choreography comes in. You can write about a dance scene as if it were a musical. Or you can write a page detailing the dance moves and transitions in the book about the performer, and that’s how music is performed. Because dance has so many elements, you’re only going to write about a dance scene once you know who the dancer is. That’s where a dancer will have the best chance to communicate with you about everything from where she stands on the scale to how that move works with other things.

I’m just looking at you for a moment. It’s a shame to interrupt you for this answer. I was going to pick the last phrase, and then I’ll ask what you think about the word “mood.”

Yes, I think it’s important to use that phrase because the difference between a mood and a emotion is whether you can convey certain emotions. Mood can be an emotion, as in a mood of disappointment or an emotions of anger. An emotion can be an emotion, as in sad or elated, or an emotion of a certain depth like fear or fearlessness or whatever. When it comes to emotion, the two things that really are distinct are that you can really feel one particular emotion and you can make sense of things that come after it by talking about that emotion, and the other thing is that there is a way to say it. When it comes to music, I think it’s a good term for that. The two kinds of emotions, you know, being sad and elated are things that are very hard to convey in a speech, but I think a way of saying sadness when you talk about it is “he’s sad.” Then, the way you say elation is a little bit different – but it’s the same kind of emotion. So, for me, music that is just sad is something that I can only see in my head, and I could never explain what makes something sad in a way you can understand it.
