How much would it cost to build a dance pole from scratch?
Most dance poles cost between $100 and $300, while many more costs include the following:
Cost is one of the biggest obstacles to putting a dance pole in place. As you can imagine, if there were just one pole on the entire property, it would cost a lot of money. To overcome this, you would need the services of a licensed installer or builder, and these can cost anywhere from $1,000 to $25,000.
For this list, we’ll focus on the prices that we can expect to pay if we go the DIY route for our dance pole.
Here’s an example of what a dance pole could cost to install:
(NOTE: To get a better idea of what to expect, this is a very rough comparison of costs. The values are estimates taken from a survey conducted by a company specializing in construction in 2007. This survey was done with the purpose of learning the costs associated with installing dance poles. These values were obtained from a local roofing company, who also conducted similar surveys in 2007. These costs have since been changed by the builder of the pole. These will NOT represent the initial cost of a pole, nor the costs of renovations, etc.)
In addition, your labor will also cost money. The cost of labor is listed in the table below. The higher the number, the less money the building work will require.
(NOTE: To get a better idea of how much labor costs will be for a particular job, keep in mind that the cost of labor is estimated for this particular job, so the actual cost of labor may be different. Always contact your local building or contractor to be sure the exact amount is quoted by his/she. Some companies will quote you a lot less than what we were able to calculate.)
Total Labor $2,000 or less $500
$3,000 – $4,000 $500-$1,000
$4,000 – $5,000 $1,500-$2,500

$8,000 and up $4,000 – 6,000 $5,000-$10,000
