A British TV star and one of Britain’s most successful comedians has died at the age of 51.

Tom Ballard, known for his role as David Walliams’s eccentric agent Jim, died on Saturday after collapsing in London.

Ballard was known for hosting the ITV series Party Down and for co-writing the title song to BBC’s hit 1980s sitcom The Big Breakfast.
